New 155-174 MHz Vertical Antenna
This rugged antenna is a proven Sigma© vertical design. Fed directly with 50 ohm coax, this vertical dipole out performs antennas several times its height. It is 99.9% efficient, pre-tuned, ready to install. The center radiator is 1.25" aluminum and the "T-bars" are .625" solid rod. There is no lossy stainless steel, nor matching network to fail in the field. It is fed using a special line of teflon coax with a female UHF connector, handling 300 watts of transmit power. The 1.5:1 VSWR operating bandwidth is more than 20 MHz. The mounting plate attaches to the bottom and comes with two (2) sets of U-bolts for masts from 1 1/4" up to 2 1/2".
