Element & Riveting Examples Force 12 pioneered riveted element assembly in 1991 and it has proven to be the superior method. Read about this technique. Remember our ad, "If its riveted, its a Force 12"!
Tuning Short Element Yagis & Radials Many people have limited knowledge of how to tune a shortened element Yagi. Things like "3 or 5% lower in frequency" for the reflector in a Yagi have been around for a long time and are incorrect. This write-up tells you how to do it in real time, to be sure you get maximum performance.
Debugging an Antenna System A popular booklet I wrote over many years of working with customers on debugging an antenna system is located on this link. It is formatted so it can be printed on single side, double side, or double-side print and face-to-face (folding 8 1/2 x 11 in half) for a compact reference.
Kingman Reef, K5K SVDA Antennas One of many successful DXpeditions that have used Force 12 antennas.
Pacific Coast Salty Dog 75 Mtr Ant. Test Team Vertical developed the 2 x 2 vertical array and we said that when it was installed on the ocean, it was better than any Yagi antenna at any height. Besides the computer models, we tested this over several years and knew it to be true. To underscore the performance, Mike K6AJ and I (N6BT) set up a 2 x 2 for 75 meters on the ocean in California using Force 12 linear loaded EF-180B verticals. We would drive over to the coast early in the mornings, set up a station and run everything off a 4500 watt generator. We put out a good 1200 watts and nobody came close to our signal on the long path. Take a look at how it was set up.
Customer's Stacked Antennas Many customers have done complex antenna arrays using our antennas. Here are some of them and more are on the way (i.e. updates from VE1JF).
More Important Vertical Info The world of verticals has been re-written by Team Vertical and Force 12. It has been interesting how so many DXpeditions have begun using verticals on th ebeach, but that's not all we have developed. Here is some more information for you.

Magnum_C-49XR-new photos The highest performacne triband Yagi in the world is the C-49XR.
Magnum 340N A full size Yagi on 40 is a real difficult antenna to use on the same tower with anything else. It will negatively disturb anything except for an 80/75 meter Yagi. Force 12 developed the "N" element for 40 meters so that a 40 meter dipole or Yagi can be close-spaced to a triband Yagi without any negative interaction. It is within 0.1dB of full size, covers the whole band and is a magnitude less mechanically.

The antennas used by Force 12 and Team Vertical are available to everyone, including the 160 and 80. These are named the "6Y-160" and "6Y-80." Congratulations to Team founders Kenny K2KW and Tom N6BT, plus all the Team members over the years and also to other DXpeditions who have used Force 12 antennas developed by Team Vertical - take a look at 1st place multi-multi winner C5Z in the 2003 CQWW Phone!
