Our towers and trailers are the cost-effective answer for:

Commercial, Mobile, Portable and Home operations - wireless communications, cameras, sensors, surveillance

Force 12 low profile towers are strong, made of high quality, aluminum square tubing and delrin slides for smooth operation. The pulleys are commercial grade and cables are aircraft quality. All pulley frames are welded to the sections. Besides a simple visual indicator, there is an internal safety, so the tower cannot be raised past the upper limit. Top plates can be made for any purpose, such as cameras, radar units, tubular or square extensions, tilting assemblies, etc. The standard top plate is pre-drilled for common antenna rotator bolt patterns.

Our LPT's have several advantages when compared to pneumatic masts:

• Typical pneumatic masts and towers have the smallest (weakest) section extending first, making the mast/tower always the weakest. Force 12 LPT's are always the strongest. All sections extend equally and the tower can be stopped at any time. There is no need for section locking mechanisms on our LPT's.
• Towers and masts made of round tubing also require a guide rod or track to prevent rotation of the sections in winds. Our square tubing design handles torque with ease.
• Force 12 LPT's are much less expensive than pneumatic masts and can be motor driven with limit switches.

The LPT standard base plate is 12" x 12" of 1/2" solid aluminum 6061-t6 plate. Although strong, the first section needs to be secured to either a structure, or to the ground using guys. Pre-cut, heavy duty angle stock is available for house/building bracketing of the first section. The first section is complete with guy ears so the section can be guyed using cable or our rigid guys instead of bracketing. Various bases are available for stand-alone installation. The winch is a worm-drive that can be run with a cordless drill using the provided loop and hook. Worm drive winches are silent, do not back down and are instantly reversible.

Installation is versatile:

• The most common permanent method is to attach the base of the LPT to four (4) foundation bolts in concrete. The concrete can also be a sidewalk using expansion bolts to attach to the base. The first section of the LPT is then attached to a structure at the top of the first LPT section using angle stock.
• The LPT can be made permanently stand-alone when a structure is not available. The base is still secured to concrete. The top of the first LPT section is then secured back to the ground using rigid guys. These are actually tubing guys with a turnbuckle at the bottom. The turnbuckles attach to an ear that is in the ground and secured with concrete (i.e. post hole size hole filled with concrete).
• Force 12 LPT's can be temporary using a variety of techniques. One is using the standard base, staking it to the ground (after the LPT us made vertical) and then guying the LPT first section to the ground. Other sections can also be guyed for added security. If on a surface where the base cannot be staked, the LPT can use rigid guys, X-base and T-bar extensions as in the photo below (left).
• In all cases, the LPT can use our hinge base for ease in making the LPT vertical.
• Hitch mounts and custom truck and bumper attachments can be made to suit.
• The Force 12 tower trailer is useful for portable installations testing, for example, wireless Internet sites.

LPT's are available in a variety of sizes to fit every need. Custom heights, features and powder coating are optional. Standard LPT identification is simple: first portion is the section length and the next is the extended height: 1242 = 12' sections, 42' extended; 620 = 6' sections, 20' extended.

Force 12 LPT-620 Hitch Mount
	An LPT-620 shows its versatility with the Force 12 hitch mount. The mount is made of 1/4" steel plate and primered, plugging into a standard receiver hitch. The hitch mount uses a pair of rigid guys and cinch straps back to the hitch mount for stability. The LPT can be secured even more by guying the top of the base section back to the bed of the truck. This is an easy way to have a fully portable 20' LPT and can be operated using a cordless drill. Our 40:1 worm drive winch is standard. The steel hitch mount can be optionally powder coated.
